Not much longer now!!

My count down says 21 days to go.. I can't believe how fast time has came and gone. Before I know it I will be holding and loving on my baby boy.. I just can't explain how excited I am for him to be here.. It was a long and stressful process to get to this point and it's all in the past and I would do it all again in a heart beat..

The great news is that my Dr won't let us go past our due date.. So, one of these next 21 days will be the BIG day.. Just not knowing is the hard part.. I like to have a plan and know when things are going to happen.. Guess this all part of the Hurry up and Wait games that come along so frequently..

Nursery is all done and ready.. Bags are mostly packed.. Need to get the carseat cover back on the seat and get it out in the car and I think we are ready.. Everyone asks if I have everything we need?? Good question.. I am new to all this and I believe we have it all and if we don't guess it's a quick trip to the store to get it.. There are so many things out there to buy.. Just don't think we really need to have them all.. Just sticking with the necessities and we will see how that gets us by..


I didn't realize that my Belly had gotten so BIG so quickly.. I really should have been measuring it just to see how fast it sprouted.. Seems like within the month it doubled in size...
This was one of my favorite Preggo shirts.. The sad news is that is doesn't cover the baby belly anymore... Tear!

Pa says that when his girls get pregnant that he does too... We have a picture of him and Mel about a month before she was due, so just had to carry on tradition and take a picture of him and I also..

Out on the Strip with Ma and Pa

While Ma and Pa were here we took a little jaunt down to the strip to take a look around the City Center.. It's nice that Bill worked on that project for a long time, so he knew all about it and knew where to take us to see the sights..

Nursery is Ready !!

Our Nursery is all ready for Baby.. Just when will he make his appearence.?.
A couple weekends back Nana and Pa came out to help get the Nursery ready.. It was a busy fun filled weekend and we have a blast getting everything out and setting up his room.. What a spoiled little bundle of love and he's not even here yet.. Just imagine when he gets here..

We love our find in border.. It matched the leaves and vines in the bedset perfectly.. Couldn't have worked out any better..





Thank you so very much for all your help getting Gracyn's room all ready for him.. It's great to be able to spend all these gerat memories with each other.. More and more to come with this little bundle of love..

32 Weeks

I really can't believe that I am at 32 weeks already.. Time has just went by so quickly.. In around 8 weeks I will be holding my little man in my arms and kissing and hugging him.. I am so very excited and so anxious also.. I wanna know who he will look like, his eye color, his hair color, how tall he will be, and if the poor little munchkin will have mommy's and daddy's BIG feet.. There is no chance for this little guy and small feet..
I have been busy tinkering lately to get things done for when he gets here.. I have his announcements all but done.. Thank you's for my Baby Shower on the 21st all done also.. I figured whatever I can do now, get it done..
I have 2 blankets that I am working on and I will be done with my blankets for him.. Then I can work more on his Scrapbook that I am making.. I have about 5 pages of many to do.. It's a A-Z scrapbook ( A is for.... B is for...) found the idea online and I love it.. I can do most pages now and add photos later in life... Makes it easy to get started now.
When Ma and Pa get a chance they will come out and visit and we will finish the nursery.. We will be painting the room Chocolate on the bottom half and sage green on the top.. Found a way cute trim that has leaves and vines on a nice wood to add to the Giraffe theme we are doing.. I can't wait til it's all done.. I think that will be a big thing that will make it all sink it for me..

Newest Member of our Family

Tuesday November 24th we had a doctors appointment to see what our baby would be.. We had my Mom, Dad, Mel, Ev, Trev, and Laurie with us for this BIG event.. We were all so excited to see what GOD had graced us with.. And the Big Reveal.....

IT'S A BOY!!!!

15 Weeks and counting! :)

I am now officially 15 weeks and one day.. Thought I would do a update with how baby is growing. It just amazes me how fast things happen and what's new week to week..




Your baby is 4 inches long and weighs more than 2.4 ounces now!

The baby can swallow food and hear you and other sounds by now. You might be able to feel moments of activity and periods of rest as the baby moves, kicks, sleeps and wakes. You might notice some fluttering movements but they might not be so profound. The baby can grasp, squint, frown, grimace and suck the thumb at this stage.

Our BIG appointment will be Tuesday the 24th.. I am so excited to see what we are having. I want to paint and do all those fun things.. I will keep everyone updated..

Halloween on the Strip

For Halloween we decided to walk around on the strip here in Vegas to see all the fun costumes. I think my husband was the one that had the eye catching costume.. It was fun to walk a few feet behind him and watch everyones faces as they saw what he was wearing. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you seen his picture somewhere online.. There were so many people that wanted pictures with him or just him.. It was quite entertaining to say the least..
KISS was performing at the Hard Rock and they were out taking pictures. Bill got his picture with them. I wish we would have gotten a picture of the sign that shows there were there, nobody believes it's the real KISS..
